Decay

life is astonishingly short
It is something I can feel in my walk
in my sleep, in my happiness, in my pain.
I feel it in my fingers, in my eyes, in my mouth
in my heart, in my stomach, in my loins, in my feet.
I decay by seconds
I am drowning slowly
in the sea of oblivion
I have to vacate the seat
I must be removed
I am falling across the sky
I seek for a support
nothing is there
except the wind that rushes
through my fingers.
